We’re gathering for a poetry reading Thursday night (after eight). Everyone welcome.
Hear, hear!
The motif for this week is American Modernists: WCW, Stevens, a touch of Eliot. We’re not going to delve deep into anything in particular, just read things, compare interpretations, go on a bunch of wild tangents, go over the most prominent milestones. Once we establish a common understanding we may gather again in a week or two and study something more in depth.
