On Sunday November 17th Kocherga will be hosting a Wikipedia edit-a-thon: scheduled time where people edit Wikipedia together, typically focused on a specific topic (in this case timelines), its a way to give newcomers an insight into how Wikipedia works. Everyone are welcome, whether youre a complete newcomer or a veteran Wikipedian. The edit-a-thon will be run in English, though youre welcome to edit articles in Russian. You must bring your own laptop in order to be able to edit.

Well focus on editing and creating timeline articles. For example:
Create timelines for academic fields (e.g. random subfields of math)
"timeline of X in country Y" where X could be things like healthcare, AI, industrialization, electricity, waste management, etc.
Translations of articles. For example, ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Дом_культуры.... is available in 16 languages, but not in English
Timelines for the missing US presidents on en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:US_P...
Timelines for world leaders like Putin or Suharto (the former president of Indonesia)
We hope to see you at the edit-a-thon! Dont forget to bring your own laptops!
Host: Ethan Bashkansky
Встреча пройдёт в воскресенье 17 ноября, в 16:00, в центре рациональности Кочерга.
